In November 2020, with the world shut down and the holidays uncertain, Patricia A. DeWees was concerned about her great-grandchildren — and every child in her city — missing out on Christmas. Her daughter, Ms. Chelette H. DeWees, turned that concerns into action and founded LoveBlessings Toys Drive Give-A-Way right there in the driveway.
With help from her assistant, Lauren Martinez, the U.S. Marine Corps' Toys for Tots program answered the call. What began as one family's plan has grown, year after year, into a movement carried by an entire community — now reaching thousands of children across three counties.

Registered families are added to our list and invited to the celebration event.
